🇬🇧🇪🇺⚡️- 10 years ago today, the United Kingdom voted to leave the #European Union fulfilling a decades long campaign by Nigel Farage to leave the economic bloc and beginning another chapter in Britain's rocky relationship with mainland #Europe.

Since the #referendum the country has now gone through 6 Prime Ministers and a slow rolling political crisis around the issues of #migration, identity, and economic stagnation that led to the #Brexit vote to begin with.

After all these years Farage himself is closer than he ever has been to becoming the leader of the nation only held back by a fracturing right wing base, arguably of his own creation.

The Brexit vote was also seen as an early bellwether of the viability of populist #politics and predictor of Donald Trumps 2016 victory in the #US later that year. #UK #azatelluk #azatellnews #uknews

‘Think of what Israel is getting. They’re not going to be nuked.

I told Bibi. ‘Bibi, they’d drop a nuclear bomb right into the middle of Israel’.

They’d only need one, and there would be no more Israel.’

Rufai Oseni asked: On security, our children and teachers are still in captivity, and a retired Major General recently di£d while being held host@ge. What would you do if you were President?

Mr. Peter Obi said:

"If I am President today, it is either the terrørists are in charge of the country or I am in charge—one person must be in charge or we declare w@r on ins£curity.

Go and ask about my record when I was Governor. I confrønted ins£curity head-on. Even notørious kidn@ppers like Evans and many others could not operate in Anambra and were forced to flee. If I am outside the country and there is a cris!s at home, I will return immediately. I am ready to d!e for Nigeria. I lived abroad for years, yet I never considered obtaining a foreign passport. I have only one passport—the Nigerian passport."
